Janet Jackson hosts AIDS benefit in Milan

Janet Jackson was in Milan last night to host an AIDS benefit for amFar.

Janet addressed the audience, saying, “Please enjoy this special evening, please keep fighting and please, this battle needs all of us to be brave warriors. Thank you very much, God bless, have a good evening.”

The singer was joined by Rachel Bilson, model Linda Evangelista, and Kanye West, whose appearance was a clear effort to improve his image after the whole VMA incident.

As part of the event, a pair of rainbow-coloured boots designed for the late Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” tour were auctioned off for over 10,000 euros.
