Janet Jackson is taking the same path as k-os and is only going to record singles from now on, no albums, according to producer Jermaine Dupri.
Durpi told Vibe, “She’s looked at the marketplace. Albums are not really doing what they usually do when you put all this budget out there. Janet is just trying to figure out her landscape.”
He also said that she is going to continue acting after she recently starred in the movie, Why Did I Get Married Too? “She’s about to do the other movie, ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf’ with Mariah Carey, Kerry Washington and Whoopi Goldberg,” Durpi said.
