Even when they’re faking it, the most famous couple in music do it big. Jay Z and Beyoncé have released a trailer for a fake film, although one we would really like to see in full. The reigning King and Queen Bey are still in their Bonnie and Clyde phase and put together a cast of A-listers to help them promote their upcoming joint tour, which kicks off June 25 in Miami.
The trailer doesn’t actually make mention of the tour, except for displaying the word ‘RUN’ across the screen at the beginning and end, a nod to the tour’s On The Run title.
The video shows Jay and Bey robbing banks, running from police, getting advice from friends, performing unsupervised medical treatments, and standing in police line-ups, all while leading their life of crime. Jake Gyllenhaal, Rashida and Kidada Jones, Blake Lively, Sean Penn, Emmy Rossum, Don Cheadle and Guillermo Diaz round out the impressive cast featured in the RUN trailer.
I guess we finally really know what Jay and Beyoncé were saying to Jake Gyllenhaal at the Nets game last week. “Hey man, just do crazy eyes for three minutes.”Tweet
