Jay-Z Claims To Have Invented Beyonce’s Single Ladies Dance

Jay-Z appeared on BBC One’s Jonathan Ross Show Friday night in London, England. During the interview, he took credit for inventing the famed “hand wave” dance his wife Beyonce does in the Single Ladies video.

“I told her to do this,” he said, waving his hand. He also revealed how he he celebrated his 40th birthday near the end of 2009, and there’s an Olympic connection!

“I had a huge party in the Dominican Republic,” he said. “We had this huge mansion with synchronized swimmers, the Olympic team. There was a casino outside, 2 dancefloors, fireworks at 12, champagne everywhere.”

Now that’s baller.
