JEFF The Brotherhood “Whatever I Want” (Video)

After recording a live album for Jack White’s Third Man Records series, Nashville’s JEFF The Brotherhood have issued a single for the label as well as a new video for it. The six-and-a-half minute tune is one of their usual riff-riding, fuzzed out jams, but the video sees the band and director Jo McCaughey channel Italian horror master Dario Argento. With deep reds, greens and blues, the plot is lacking narrative, but we see some girls being tormented sonically, supernaturally and surgically, while the duo give stupid grins. And you gotta love the extended organ solo, where the player gets his rightful moment to shine with discombobulating effect.
