Jersey Shore cast to return for a second season

The cast of MTV’s massive hit The Jersey Shore – including favourites Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation – have negotiated their way to a second season. The cast demanded their salaries be increased to $100,000 per episode after the reality show proved to be such a hit. However MTV responded that the cast could be easily replaced, and offered them only $10,000 per episode which the cast ultimately accepted. Though MTV has not confirmed the filming of a second season, the word on the street is that it will film this summer.

Good news for fans of the fist pump! Can’t wait to see what the guidos and guidettes have in store next season…
