jesse, you’re doing an amazing job!! my only concern is that you’re going to have a TONNE of girls who aren’t going to leave you alone!
Hollywood Undead have influenced my life the most because through my worst times I was able to drown everything out with their music. Also, their music has so much emotion tied to it and they know how to have fun with their music as well.
Big ups to Jesse! Perfect fit, looks like he belongs for sure. The bands that have influenced my life are A Rocket Summer, Said the Whale, Shad, City & Colour, and Coldplay to name a few.
hey I think Jesse is a real natural! He has charisma which is hugely important in being a much music VJ! Continue being yourself Jesse and you will do just fine.
The band that has influenced my life the most would definitely be Radiohead! There music fits my every mood and always makes me feel at ease. I fell in love with music when I fell in love with Radiohead!!
Pretty darn good for a first shift. I’m pretty sure I haven’t done that good on any of my first shifts! And nobody was filming me!
Keep up the good work and it’ll only get better from here! Good job!
Great job Jesse!! Amazing job on your first shift! Can’t wait to see more from you!! <3
A band that has really influenced my life is Marianas Trench. I can identify so much with all of their lyrics and each and every song really moves me. They’ve gotten me through so many hard times.
Just caught a bit of your first on air segment and thought you were made for TV. You were pitching to Alexisonfire & sounds like you have alot of musical knowledge and expertise that makes you the perfect candidate for this job!
My musical influence? Jason Mraz & his ability to convey happiness in his music to Eminem & his ability to speak his mind no matter how offensive his opinions are.
cool for a starter that he knows nothing about being a VJ but he get there soon and become a professional muchmusic VJ !!!
Hey Jesse congrats from some old friends back in the lower mainland .. Don’t forget your roots! We are so proud of you good luck and good job! Xoxoxoxoxoxo
This is so unfair. So he was a model? That really qualifies him for a position like this? What about all those struggling journalists out there? You can pick any off the street and have get a basic handle of the job within a month. But is that the standard now for ‘music journalism?’
Hey! I was there tonight at around 8.30. We were the big bunch of kids that came in with the cake!
Just wanted to say thanks! It totally made our night. Wondering if we could find the clip anywhere on the site, and also we think you’re awesome!!
We’ll stop by again soon
Congrats;;
you got the dream job!!

jesse was too concerned about looking good on camera than to focus on his job, which is to talk about music… i guess that’s the ‘model’ in him. also, the over enunciation of certain words and awkward pauses made it hard to want to listen. isn’t part of the contract giving him some public speaking tips?!
