She’s soulful yet understated delivery is reminiscent of Sade and that arresting sound. Jessie Ware’s single “Devotion” taken from her upcoming album of the same name is a song infused with delicate yearning, a celebration of that moment where you give into the melodic sound of her and a melody so remarkably poignant it turned the song’s heavy-handed universalism in on itself.
