Miley, Charlie and more!
January 14th, 2014
We’re always trying to look for hot new bands to listen to and we’ve been obsessed with British band London Grammar since they emerged onto the scene last year. Now that they have a few singles and a full-length album under their belt, we’re pretty convinced that this trio is going to continue gaining attention and new fans. In fact, they can even call Late Night host Jimmy Fallon a newly-converted fan thanks to their wonderful performance on his show last night.
For those who are unfamiliar with the band, take a look below as we explain to you just why we can’t get enough of London Grammar.
This is London Grammar.
Yes, they are from England. Nottingham, to be specific.
Fun fact: guitarist Dan Rothman recruited singer Hannah Reid to be in a band with him after he saw a picture of Reid holding a guitar on Facebook. The power of Facebook, everyone.
They released their debut album If You Wait last year, which garnered lots of positive reviews and even peaked at #2 on the UK charts.
Just check out their stunning music video for Wasting My Young Years. What. A. Voice.
They’ve even covered Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball and they totally gave it their own unique spin. Trust us, once you hit play, you’ll have this on repeat all day.
The band finally made their TV debut last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and yep, they blew everyone away. Including Fallon. Take a look at their performance below:
Your new fave band, right?
