JoJo has some high praises for hip hop’s current hit makers. The former teen pop star recently made a comeback with her single, Demonstrate, which was produced by Drake’s producer, Noah ’40′ Shebib. When asked in a red carpet interview about the Toronto rapper, JoJo said, “I love what he’s doing over in Toronto and I’m just happy that I got to have a little part of what’s going on up there.”

She goes on to talk about female rappers, praising both Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea (who, funny enough, have been feuding for a while now), saying, “I think Iggy Azalea is really dope…she’s beautiful and she’s bringing the fashion element into what she does and she’s really cool. Azealia Banks can rap her face off.”

And lastly, when asked about what she’s currently listening to, the singer reveals that she’s been obsessing over the new Frank Ocean album and continues to comment on the recent buzz about his coming out. “It’s a bummer when ignorance is at the forefront sometimes and you just hear it more, but there’s a lot more people that are loving and accepting than those that are talking smack.”
