The Jonas Brothers shot their first video together in almost four years last month in New Orleans, taking the field along with the NFL cheerleading teams for the Saints and Hornets. The Jo Bros video for Pom Poms, the first single from their now completed upcoming album, also includes a cameo from Southern University’s marching band. The trio released a photo from the video shoot that shows the brothers performing along with a drummer and horn section.
This weekend the band announced their official release date for the new single, with Pom Poms hitting radio waves across North America on Tuesday, April 9. A short snippet of the new song has leaked online, and the poppy, energetic track plays like a return to the Jonas Brother’s sound as opposed to the solo work brothers Nick and Joe have released in the past.
Since taking a break from the band, all three brothers have stayed busy in the entertainment business. Joe Jonas released his first solo record with Fast Life, touring with Jay Sean. Nick Jonas returned to Broadway with a starring role in How To Succeed in Business and made guest appearances on a number of TV shows, including Smash. Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle launched their own E! reality series Married To Jonas, with the second season confirmed for Spring 2013.Tweet
