Toronto post-emo pop punks Junior Battles have done their 2011 debut album, Idle Ages, a solid and strung together three of its tracks (8, 9 and 10, according to the tracklist) for a narrative-driven video that depicts suburban boredom among grotesquely deformed teenage kids. To quote singer/guitarist Sam Sutherland, it’s “worth the six and a half minutes. Because it’s rad and has a lot of gross body-stuff.” Indeed.
The video was directed by Chris Nash, who says the video is about “when I was a kid I killed a bunch of frogs and felt really bad about it. So I made a music video about it for the guys in Junior Battles.”
