Junior Jenner Too Young For The Runway

New York Fashion Week is in full bloom as of yesterday. Speaking of blooming, Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian clan, will hit the catwalk for the first time on Monday. Fourteen year-old Kylie is following in her older sisters footsteps and will showcase Avril Lavigne’s clothing line, Abbey Dawn, on Monday. Older sis and model, Kendall, 15, backed out of a Fashion’s Night Out event because she couldn’t get out of school.

Kylie may not get detention for skipping class, but she could have lost the gig altogether. The Council of Fashion Designers of America has ruled that models be carded before taking to the runway to prove they are at least 16 years old. Luckily, a loophole has saved Kylie’s New York Fashion Week debut. Abbey Dawn was deemed appropriate for teens, and so the show will go on. If Mama Kris allows Kylie to strut her stuff, then the Kardashian matriarch has spoken.
