Juno Junk

Actually, Kathleen didn’t date Kurt, her pal Tobi Vail did.

I’m just back from a Juno long weekend in Edmonton.  I love that city.  I was out West with Rush The Vote, and stuck around for everything Juno-related.  What can I give ya that you didn’t see or hear already?  Alberta Premier Ralph Klein being booed while walking down the red carpet.  Ben from Billy Talent telling photographers his “Best New Group” is just four schmucks from Mississauga.  Pierre from Simple Plan holding it down on the dance floor two nights in a row at the after parties.  And NDP leader Jack Layton and Steven Page of BNL party hopping together.  Yay! to Canada for having such a talented music community.  As Going Coastal videographer Chris Nelson would say, good people! 
I think I have to watch The Swan tonight, so I can walk around hating it.  I have an idea for a new reality show.  All the beautiful people given personality make-overs!  Improv lessons, conversation workshops, current affairs classes, volunteering, life coaching …  

Devo yo! I haven’t talked to you in awhile.  Are you still comparing Toronto to Montreal?  It took me awhile to stop doing that …
