The 2010 Juno Awards nominees and some of the performers were announced this morning.
Performing at the awards will be Drake, Justin Bieber, Billy Talent, Metric and Michael Bublé, with more names to be revealed leading up the ceremony on April 18th.
Many big names came away with multiple nominations.
Drake is up for New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and got two nods for Rap Recording of the Year.
Justin Bieber is up for New Artist of the Year, Pop Album of the Year and Album of the Year
Billy Talent are nominated for Group of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year
K’naan is nominated for Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Rap Recording of the Year
And battling it out for New Group of the Year are Stereos, Arkells, Down With Webster, 10 Second Epic and The New Cities.
Of course, nobody can touch Michael Bublé who walked away with 8 nominations altogether.
CTV will air the 2010 Juno Awards live from St. John’s, Newfoundland on April 18th.
