Well hello, my sweet babies! This is Eddie Della Siepe from Video On Trial, alongside Darrin Rose. We’re doing stand-up across the country on the Jury Duty Tour. This weekend we hit Ajax, Ontario! Ajax is a suburb of Toronto, where most people commute to jobs downtown via the GO train. So Darrin and I acted all business, commuting to our show and wearing suits! Ballin’!!
There was a problem; I don’t own a suit. In fact, the last suit I wore was to my prom. All white with no shirt underneath. That look is a bit more “Backstreet Boys Millennium album cover” than “closing the deal”, so I had to figure something out. Darrin brought sexy back, looking like a rugged Michael Buble, and I ended up looking like Andre 3000 at a job interview. (Oh, it’ll catch on.) Darrin rocked a Calvin Klein suit with a Ben Sherman tie, while I rolled with my dad’s old jacket, a shirt from Value Village, and an ascot. Well, the ascot was just a bandana I found on the train. And… my glasses didn’t have lenses. I’M TOO THUG FOR LENSES.
Who from Ajax is worth mentioning? Punk/pop group Sum-41 and Snow! I know, SNOW! Like most of you, when I think of reggae street cred, I think of Ajax, Ontario.
