Justin and Nicki’s video for Beauty and the Beat breaks records

Looks like being the Prankster Prince has really helped Justin Bieber get more views on VEVO. Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s video for Beauty and the Beat have broken the record for most views within twenty-four hours. VEVO tweeted, “Congrats @justinbieber & @NICKIMINAJ! #BAAB24hrRecord is YOURS! Most @VEVO views in 24 hours!” This was partially accomplished by Justin Bieber fooling the media into thinking that personal footage had been stolen from his laptop and would be released to the public at noon last Friday. Beauty and the Beat had over ten million views within the twenty-four hour time frame and now sits at over twenty million views. This record was previously held by One Direction for Live While We’re Young.
