Remember when it was announced that Justin Bieber’s album, Believe, would feature a bunch of collaborations including ones with Taylor Swift and Kanye West? What ever happened to those?
According to Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, those tracks might never see the light of day because they just didn’t “fit in with the final vibe of the album.”
Bieber’s collaboration with Swift got lots of praise from girlfriend, Selena Gomez, but was eventually left on the cutting room floor because it didn’t fit, Braun explains. But, he goes on to tell MTV, “there’s another record they want to work on” so there’s still a chance that fans will hear a duet sometime soon!
Another failed collaboration was Maroon 5′s Adam Levine. “We talked with Adam Levine about doing stuff,” Braun said. “And he wanted to, but with everything else, we could just never get the studio time in together.”
