One of Justin Bieber’s biggest fans, six year-old Avalanna Routh, passed away last week after losing her battle to brain cancer. The young girl, who playfully called herself Mrs. Bieber, got to meet the pop superstar this past February after gaining over 12,000 fans on her Facebook page. Justin invited Avalanna and her family to spend Valentine’s Day with him in Manhattan this year and later invited the young girl to his shows over the summer.
With the terrible news of Avalanna passing away last week from a rare form of cancer that has only 30 diagnosis in the US each year, Bieber made the devastating announcement on his Twitter page, tweeting “just got the worst news ever. one of the greatest spirits i have ever known is gone. please pray for her family and for her.”
Justin kicked off his Believe World Tour in Las Vegas on Sunday night and dedicated his song One Less Lonely Girl to Avalanna. The jumbo screen behind Justin displayed images of the young fan spending time with Bieber and enjoying a trip to Disney World. Before hitting the stage, Justin tweeted “Big day today. Tonight is for my angel. #mrsbieber”.
