Justin Bieber discusses VMA incident

Justin Bieber was on MOD yesterday as part of the We Day festivities, but spent some time in the morning and afternoon with MuchNews.

On the We Day red carpet, the singer discussed his part in the VMA incident between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Justin defended Swift onstage minutes after it happened.

He thought she faced an unfair circumstance for her first VMA win. “It was her first award, she’s 20-years-old. I just think she didn’t deserve to be treated that way.”

Later on, after MOD, we followed up with Justin about the incident and asked if he and Kanye West have any beef now because of his support for Swift.

“Oh definitely not, I mean me and Kanye, I don’t really know him as a person but I love his music, listen to his music, really it doesn’t involve me, I really don’t care. Still love his music, still crank it.”
