Justin Bieber helps honour Michael Jackson in LA

January 27th, 2012

Michael Jackson was honored by family and friends with a commemorated ceremony in Los Angeles.

According to the Press Association, the late king of pop had his three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket conduct a hand and foot print ceremony into cement outside Graumann’s Chinese Theatre. They used his famous sequin glove and dancing shoes, along with their own hand prints.

“This, right here, is his lifetime achievement award,” says Prince. “This is what he strived to get, and this is what we are giving him now.”

Also in attendance was Jackson’s mother Katherin and brothers Tito and Jackie, along with musical guests Justin Bieber, Smokey Robinson and Quincy Jones. Bieber performed an a cappella version of Jackson’s hit Rockin’ Robin. “Michael meant so much to me,” says Bieber, “he meant a lot to you guys as well”.
