Justin Bieber: “I’m kind of trying to stay single”

Okay, so there’s good news and there’s bad news. The good news is that Justin Bieber is single. The bad news is that he’s trying to be single.

In an interview with People Magazine, the MTV VMA winner for Best New Artist said he’s not currently seeing anyone but that could change.

“I’m single,” Bieber said. “I’m kind of looking, but I’m kind of trying to stay single… My mom didn’t even want me dating, but that kind of didn’t work.”

Justin did go on to add what he looks for in a girl, so you never know, especially considering he said he is “kind of looking.” So what does he like? “An ideal girl is someone who is funny – who can make me laugh.”

Work on those jokes, ladies.
