The head coach of the National Hockey League farm team the Bakersfield Condors is offering superstar Justin Bieber a spot in their try outs for the upcoming 2012/2013 season. Says head coach Matt O’Dette, “I’ve scouted some video of him online skating with my hometown team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I think he could provide some elusive speed up front for us. Plus, he’s a right-handed shot, which we’ve been looking to add.” I’m sure this has nothing to do with getting publicity for ht team.
As the coach and head of operations for the team, O’Dette also added that he and Bieber both share a common heritage since they ‘hail from Ontario’. I guess that makes me bff’s with the Biebs.
For his part, Justin has yet to respond, although O’Dette has reached out to the singer’s manager, Scooter Braun. Ya right, as if Braun is going to take any chances letting a puck fly at the million-dollar face.
