Justin Bieber to help write and produce Selena Gomez’s new album

Because this was definitely going to happen sooner or later: Justin Bieber will be writing and producing Selena Gomez’s new album. The couple will go into the studio together for the first time and work on Gomez’s album, which is slated to be released sometime in 2013.

Black Eyed Peas’ frontman recently told New. Music. Live. that Bieber played him one of these tracks. “He was like, ‘Yeah, I wrote it for Selena. It’s great,” said will.i.am. “And it was really awesome. It was really, really dope.”

We can’t wait to hear the results! What do you think this collaboration’s going to sound like?
