Stop the presses! Cos’ the world has just been given a snippet of Justin Timberlake’s most-talked about third video “What Goes Around…” starring the lusciously divine Scarlett Johansson.

But friends don’t hold your breath cos’ that was just a false alarm. I, like many of you, have been anticipating the release of the video for months (pre-Scarlett hoopla) because well it’s, dare I say it, the best track off the record. With lyrics that lead you to believe that this is part deux of “Cry Me A River”, you can’t help but allow your imagination to run away with you. This song screams ‘Britney, this is what you get for cheating on my fine ass.’ Now, JT has denied any rumors that this song is in fact about Britney and K-Fed’s relationship but seriously, you don’t just write and record a song like that and call it a ‘coincidence’. We know what it’s really about. So, with all this in mind, don’t you expect the video to reek of scandal, betrayal and lust?

Well apparently, the people that put together the 30 second preview didn’t think so. Who cares if Justin’s crooning on a big band stage?

Who cares if girls are dressed up in flapper dresses?

And why must Scarlett be dressed in her usual 40s esque threads?

Honestly, after all the hype, drama and rumours surrounding the production of this video I expected fireworks, passionate love scenes, a devishly coy Justin seducing the ‘sexiest’ actress alive. Instead, I’m nodding off during a 30 second preview clip. I’m truly disappointed. Let’s hope the video isn’t as disappointing as the preview.
