Justin: The Other Side

So in the entry below, Jen’s all like, “ooo, Justin Timberlake’s song ‘What Goes Around’ is totally about J and Brit and K-Fed”. Which, to most people, would make a most delicious sense. How perfect would that be? A tune as equally gut-wrenching about deception as ‘Cry Me A River’! ‘Cry Me A River’ 2007!! Holler! And can I just say how much “What Goes Around…Comes Around” is my favourite song on the album?

Anyway, let’s pause here. Let’s talk about the supposed apparent alleged truth about the song: that it’s about J’s best friend Trace and his ex-lady Elisha Cuthbert. Yes, the story goes (if you haven’t heard), that when Elisha done cheated on Trace and Justin asked about it, he said, “don’t want to think about it, don’t want to talk about it”, hence the lyrics before the chorus. So there you have it. Truth or not? Who knows! Pretty good story? Yes and yes.
