Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel to wed this weekend in Italy

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, who got engaged on their annual Christmas holiday last December after more than five years together, are set to exchange vows this weekend in a small Italian town that holds special memories for them both. A source told The New York Post’s Page Six that the location “means a lot to both of them”, adding “The wedding is happening outside of Naples in a tiny town this week. It is their favourite place, a location that is very special to them. There will be a few hundred guests, and the maid of honour will be Jessica’s longtime best friend, Lindsay Ratowsky.”
The wealthy couple splashed out on a private plane to fly their guests, including ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Andy Samberg and music producer Timbaland, to Italy for their special day. In an attempt to keep the nuptials out of the press, the couple have kept the event as secret as possible, not even giving the wedding location to their guests until the day before they left.
Celebrations are already underway for the couple’s special day. Guests were spotted enjoying a low-key drinks reception near Naples on Tuesday, followed by an impressive fireworks display last night.
The couple were first spotted visiting possible wedding locations in the Italian countryside last April, including Francis Ford Coppola’s picturesque Palazzo Margherita in Bernalda, a small hilltop town 125 miles from Naples. Biel reportedly arrived in Italy on Tuesday after picking up her wedding dress from a designer showroom in Paris.
Timberlake’s groom duties have included rehearsing a surprise routine to his former band’s track It’s Gonna Be Me with his best man and ushers as he prepares for his nuptials to the Biel. A source told The Sun newspaper, “Justin has been working on this for months. Jessica used to love the track growing up and he wants it as a special treat. It will be very much tongue-in-cheek. There will be loads of exaggerated boy band moves and poses. She’s going to love it.”
