Kanye West has updated us on his progress in the studio.

Blogging on his website, Kanye got philosophical, promising he would follow in the footsteps of great poets and document what is happening now.

Uh huh.

Kanye also stated that he wants to look past headlines and deal with reality in the new decade, as well as promising us his new music will be as dedicated as Kobe Bryant is to basketball.

Hmm… I think I liked Kanye better when he was all liquored up on Hennessey…
