Kanye West debuts Cruel Summer at Cannes

The reviews are in for Kanye West’s directorial debut Cruel Summer and the comments are mostly positive from the Cannes Film Festival. West was in town this week along with girlfriend Kim Kardashian and best friend Jay-Z to screen the film, which stars his G.O.O.D. labelmate Kid Cudi.
The film, set to must by G.O.O.D. music recording artists (plus a remixed Coldplay track), depicts Cudi as a car thief who falls in love with a blind Armenian Arabian princess. West employed his signature creativity when showing the film, using seven separate screens throughout the film to give movie goers a variety of shots of each scene.
West has yet to comment on when and how the film will be made available, though I’m thinking a special on E! that airs after Keeping Up With The Kardashians makes the most sense.
