Kanye West made a surprise appearance on last night’s episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and performed his Yeezus track Bound 2 for the first time on television. West was backed by singer Charlie Wilson and Late Night house band The Roots for the energetic performance, which featured one of the most animated children’s choirs I’ve ever seen. Seriously, those kids are the coolest.
In his first ever performance on Jimmy Fallon (how is that possible?), West re-wrote the opening lines to his track to include a diss towards girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s ex, Ray J.
West rapped “Brandy’s little sister lame, man, he know it now/ When a real brother hold you down you supposed to drown.” The line was in reference to Ray J’s latest song, the frankly disgusting track I Hit It First, which features a Kim K look-a-like and direct references to the couple’s sex tape. Classy guy, that Ray J.
