Kanye West names his new protege

Kanye West took to Twitter last night to post a pic of himself and Justin Bieber in the studio working on music together. While this isn’t the first time the two have collaborated (West remixed Bieber’s Runaway Love for the young singer’s remix album, which dropped last Monday), it does have music fans wondering whose album is being worked on next.

In addition to the pic of Bieber that West tweeted below, new haircut and all, West described the Canadian as “my new beat protégé”. Justin’s manager Scooter Braun has said in past interviews that Bieber is looking to work with Drake and West on his new album, with West showing interest in producing a number of tracks for the follow up to My World 2.0.

Working with Kanye is pretty cool, but let’s get to the really important task at hand. Bieb’s haircut – yay or nay?
