Katy and Russell engaged!

Update: People Magazine has confirmed that the couple are in fact, 100% engaged. Brand’s rep verified the story.

Last week we heard unconfirmed gossip that Katy Perry and Russell Brand got engaged during their vacation in India and well, now they’re back.

More reports have surfaced suggesting the two may be engaged. British newspaper The Sun claims Brand texted the editor saying, “Much love. It’s true.”

Perry herself also helped with the speculation after she tweeted: “So when do I start walking the streets naked singing that Alanis song?” People Magazine suggests the singer is referencing Alanis Morrisette’s song “Ironic” where she sings “It’s like rain on your wedding day.” But we here at Much think Katy may actually be talking about the song “Thank You,” y’know, where she’s walking around naked and thanking India?

So where this leaves us, we’re not sure, but we’d love to see those two lovebirds walk down the aisle.
