Katy Perry films new music video, possibly for Wide Awake

Katy Perry has been tweeting updates from the shoot for her latest music video, rumoured to be Perry’s Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection track Wide Awake. Tweeting “3rd long ass day of shooting … the new music video!!!!! #workinggirl”, Perry also confirmed that the video will include a tie-in to her upcoming feature film debut, saying “About to shoot one of the last scenes for the music video … I have to pick a costume from the Cali Dreams Tour, which would u pick? #KP3D.”

Katy Perry Part of Me 3D is set to his theatres on July 4, weeks after the singer makes her return to the MMVA stage on Sunday, June 17. While Katy has yet to confirm her next single, Perry told MTV in March that she had a video concept in mind for Wide Awake.
