Katy Perry gives fans pillows and blankets in NYC

Fans go to the extreme in order to get closer to their heroes. Camping overnight in on uncomfortable concrete sidewalks, asphalt, lumpy grass, whatever, braving rain, inhumane temperatures, and worst of all, tedious hours of complete boredom.

But Katy Perry’s trying to change that, or at least bring a little more comfort to her fans when they camp out tonight to get a good spot for her performance tomorrow morning on The Today Show. The singer will be handing out pillows and “blankys” with her name and album title on them (I smell an eBay auction being created right this second).

Katy made the announcement on Twitter saying, “I had special #TeenageDream pillow & blankys made just for those of u that r camping out for the Today show! Yay!”
