Katy Perry Makes First Appearance Since Splitting From Russell Brand

Katy Perry made her first public appearance as a single woman in the U.S. on Friday night, since her divorce from comedian Russel Brand in December. The singer was supporting a fundraising event in Las Vegas for Patricia Arquette’s Haiti charity website GiveLove.org at the Mirage Hotel’s 1Oakvenue.

Perry and Brand divorced after only 14 months of marriage, and Perry has since kept a low-key profile. However, the singer got back to work this month, performing at a few shows.

Perry thanked all of the charity event’s guests on twitter afterward, saying “Thanks to everyone who who helped out w/ the Give Love event at Mirage & 1 Oak LV. Go to Givelove.org to see how u can make a difference!”
