Sneak peek of Crazy, Cupid, Love!
July 28th, 2009

Katy Perry is known as the saucy minx of music. She sings about kissing girls and she knows every innuendo in the book. Sunday night at the Molson Amphitheatre we got to see a lil cute side of miss Katy as well.
Check out the rest of the review and a pretty gallery of photos!
After New Cities and Disband stars Stereos warmed up the already excited crowd, Katy hit the stage. Oh but it was not just your average plain stage. Oh no. Katy would never do that. Instead the stage was covered with giant inflatable strawberries and flamingos. The set was complete with a white picket fence.
Katy loves her fans and Sunday night’s show she gave it her all for them. Being the adorable peach that she is, she chatted us up in between songs, and gossiped about an ex-Canadian boyfriend.
I consider myself to be somewhat of a Katy Perry fan. I like her spunky catchy-ness (she grabbed her boobies during the show many a time). I appreciate her daring clothing choices (tonight it was a seahorse onsie which I would like my own copy of). I hum along to her songs (Waking Up In Vagas is currently stuck in my head). This was nothing in comparison to the devotees that showed up to show Katy their love. Everyone had busted out their hand made t-shirts and glittery posters, and they belted out every word to every song.
Earlier in the day Katy had tweeted that that “Loudest or craziest dressed person tonight get’s 2come on stage w/me 4 HOT COLD!” and she kept her promise! One enthusiastic girl dressed up like a flamingo,
and got to dance on stage with the lovely lady herself. So impressed, Katy even gave flamingo girl her guitar! Way to go flamingo girl!
Throughout the night, Katy covered a few songs she loved which had inspired her, including Build Me Up Butter Cup and Don’t Stop Me Now. But crazy Katy has to add her own style to everything, so before Don’t Stop Me Now she brought on a giant inflatable cat and changed into a kitty costume as well. As she sang herself “Don’t Stop Me Meow”!
At the end of the show, Katy went down to the pit to talk to her fans, (one who had slept overnight to get the front row spot) and show them some love by jumping into the crowd. Overall it was a fun filled night with a fun loving gal! Now, where can I buy a seahorse onesie…
