Katy Perry releases movie poster for Part of Me 3D

Katy Perry has released the movie poster for her upcoming documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D and it’s everything Katy – fun, young, colourful, flirty and totally enviable (that bright blue phone would look supah ca-hute in my room). The poster shows ‘young’ Katy in her childhood room with big dreams of being a superstar, with the mirror reflecting Katy as the international pop singer we know and love today.

With the realistic drawing, 1980s trinkets and pink border, the movie poster screams vintage young adult books and it totally works. I’m getting the very strong feeling that Ms. Perry had quite the collection of Sweet Valley High books while she was growing up.

Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D hits theatres on July 5, but you can see Katy before then when she performs on the MMVA stage on Sunday, June 17.
