Katy Perry signs $2 million book deal for tell-all

Katy Perry has reportedly signed a $2 million book deal to write an autobiography titled, wait for it, Part Of Me. Like the song. And the movie. What can I say, it’s an excellent title for apparently everything.

Perry will reportedly be telling all in the upcoming book, including details on her divorce from Russell Brand and her new relationship with John Mayer. So ya, I’m willing to fork over forty big ones to get this baby in hard cover. I hope Costco carries it.

A source told The Sun in the UK that Katy is anxious to release her book in time with Brand’s next release in his Booky Wook series, hoping to show her side of the break up. Says the source, “Several publishers have been after Katy for a while. She decided to go ahead so fans don’t have a one-sided story when Russell publishes another Booky Wook.” I’ve never really thought of the two sharing a fan base, but I get the idea.
