Katy Perry Swoons Over Russell Brand

Katy Perry rivaled her fiancé Russell Brand’s comedic skills with a hilarious interview recently.

Joking about Brand’s reputation as a playa, Katy said, “Can you imagine the kind of responsibility I have with his reputation? Jeez. I’m bedridden most of the week.”

She joked about her stunning engagement ring saying, “I’m glad he didn’t go for the ‘every-other-b—ch in-Beverly-Hills-is-wearing-it-as-well ring.’” She also revealed the inscription: “The one I’ve been waiting for.” Aw schmaltz.

On a more serious note she also called Russell a walking genius and said that he is good for her because he calls the shots. “I like that. I’ve been waiting for someone I couldn’t steamroll,” she said.

Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry on New Years Eve on a holiday in India.

The pair is known for their unpredictable and daring fashion sense. Katy described Russell’s style as a mixture of Jim Morrison, Charles Manson, Jesus and Elvis Presley. Sounds about right.
