katy is so pretty but she cant sing that well.. it sounds completely different than the original.

but shes really talented.

i agree - her voice sounds terrible in these clips. i have less respect for her now. just another pretty face with really good audio engineers in teh studio.

I used to think she couldn’t sing, because “I kissed a girl” and “hot and cold” sound terrible live, but as I was flipping through the channels and came across someone singing a song on MOD I was stunned. It was amazing! I never knew she could sing like that, I have gained respect for her from hearing her perform “Thinking of you.”

but what kind of a singer are you if you can’t even perform your two SINGLES with conviction? whichever bigshot singer wrote the songs for her, and whichever bigshot producer selected them especially for her when they manufactured her in the lab should have thought about that.
