Ke$ha, a PETA advocate, is not happy with Lady Gaga. The pop star recently wrote a letter to Gaga after hearing her support her choice of furs.

“It upsets me to see that you, a role model to many, especially those who are fashion forward, would openly endorse such a cruel and inhumane practice,” Ke$ha writes. “Animals are skinned and tortured for hours in order to make the fur that you, and other individuals of the upper class, lavishly wear around proudly.”

She goes on to call Gaga out for being a hypocrite on the topic of animal cruelty, adding, “I was upset to learn this after you had told Ellen ‘I hate fur, and I don’t wear fur.’

“As a fellow artist, I would like to express my distaste, and quite bluntly, disgust, at the fact that you, someone who is in the spotlight at a near constant basis, would endorse and display this type of clothing.”
