A week after Lady Gaga broke a weekly airplay record on Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart, Ke$ha has set a new standard.
Gaga’s “Bad Romance” registered 10,859 plays between January 11th and 17th, the most plays in the 17 year history of the tally.
But, last week Ke$ha rewrote that record with her hit “TiK ToK” which was played 11,224 times and dethroned the glam queen from the number one spot. “TiK ToK” has also spent the past five weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.Tweet
