The MTV European Music Awards went down last night in Madrid, Spain. No surprise, Lady Gaga took home the most trophies

Although she wasn’t actually there in person, Gaga interrupted a performance in Hungary to address the crowd and thank her fans for helping her win Best Female, Best Song, and Best Pop. One person she likely didn’t thank? Host Eva Longoria Parker, who came out dressed as a ham, spoofing Gaga’s famous meat dress.

Justin Bieber, who also wasn’t there in the flesh, was the other multiple winner, taking home honours for Best Male and Best Push Artist.

Some of the other winners were Ke$ha (pictured), who beat out Bieber for Best New Act, Eminem for Best Hip-Hop and Linkin Park who were awarded Best Live.

Speaking of live, there were 14 (!) performances during the telecast, including Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, B.o.B. with Paramore’s Hayley Williams, and get this, 30 Seconds To Mars featuring an unexpected cameo by Kanye West.

Best Female: Lady GaGa
Best European Act: Marco Mengoni
Best Push Artist: Justin Bieber
World Stage: Tokio Hotel
