Ke$ha creates new genre of *ahem* pop

Ke$ha has promised fans that her new album will ignite a genre of music the singer has labelled “cock pop”. Seriously. Not only that, she used caps lock. You guys, this is the dawn of something life changing.

Ke$ha took some time out of her daily afternoon tea with high society to share her brainwave, tweeting “Wailing on an epic track with Doctor Luke & Benny Blanco. This is the dawn of a new genre of music: COCK POP!!!”

Ke$ha’s follow up to 2010′s Animal is due out later this year and apparently will include all things cock pop related. I still have no idea what that means. The singer confirms that she’s already written 200 songs for the album and has cited Iggy Pop, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin as influences for the disc. That’s disc. Not…you know.

I never thought I’d have to ask my boss whether it’s okay to use the term ‘cock pop’ at work. Thanks Ke$ha.
