Ke$ha Heads To 70s For “In Your Face Rock” On Next Album

With Animal and Cannibal still spewing hits (Blow, We R Who We R), Ke$ha‘s already working on her follow-up album. Writing songs on the road while on her Get $leazy Tour, she told MTV she already knows what the album will be focused on:

“I’ve been pretty much in this 70’s rock and roll kick and I want to capture some of the true essence of what rock and roll is, and that’s just irreverence and sexiness and fun and not giving a f**k, so we’ll definitely put a bit of rock and roll in it.”

On top of giving it a 70s vibe, she’ll also be switching up her sound, “For the next album, I’ve been working on writing on the road, but as far as a sound, I just know it’s gonna be balls out, irreverent rock and roll.”

So be prepared to be taken back to the days of Floyd, The Stones and Zeppelin. Ke$ha’s hinted she’d love to include a duet with one of her icons from the 70s. Knowing how great her music sounds, I hope she does!
