Kelly Clarkson channels her inner rapper on Eminem cover

Kelly Clarkson’s been covering a different song pretty much every night on tour right now and we’ve already posted covers of Fun. and Gavin DeGraw, but it’s time for Clarkson to bust out some rapping!

The pop star, who was in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit on Friday, whipped out a hoodie and prepared the audience for the cover of Lose Yourself by telling them, “When you listen to him on the radio and sing along in the car, you’re a lot more badass than you actually are bceause when you get alone without Eminem doing it with you, it’s not as good.”

Clarkson then goes on to sing/rap the Eminem hit – and we think she did a surprisingly great job! As soon as she finished, she told the crowd, “That was hard as hell!”
