Kristen Stewart has jetted to London to ring in the New Year with Robert Pattinson. The Twilight Saga co-stars were spotted getting off the subway in the English capital together with a number of their American pals on Saturday.
The actress was spotted boarding a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport to the UK on Friday to continue her annual tradition of spending New Year’s Eve on the Isle of Wight after spending Christmas with her own family, according to HollywoodLife.com.
Multiple fans spotted the couple strolling around London yesterday, including Amber Johnson who tweeted, “Just sat next to Robert pattinson and christen Stewart on the tube oh my god. we got off at London Victoria and was standing in between them two in the escalators she was with her American pals (sic).”
The couple opted to spend the festive season apart after the actress spent a “nerve-wracking” Thanksgiving with his family in London last month. An insider previously revealed “They had a meal on Thanksgiving, and it was nerve-wracking for Kristen. She felt very uncomfortable and Rob’s sisters couldn’t be completely welcoming. It won’t go back to normal straight away, even if Rob has decided to try again. Rob’s mum wanted him to spend Christmas with them in London and, before their trip to the UK, that had been his and Kristen’s plan. From London, they were going to fly to Mexico for New Year. Rob’s family made it clear that they really want to see him over Christmas and, after the intense promotional tour for Twilight, Rob liked the idea of spending time alone with his family.”
