Kurt Vile “Wakin on a Pretty Day” (Video)

Philly psych-balladeer Kurt Vile is a favourite of The Wedge, and not just because he’s buds with Damian. Today it was announced that his follow-up to 2011′s Smoke Ring for My Halo would be released on April 9th. It’s called Wakin On A Pretty Day and according to label Matador it’s a 69-minute long double album. Whoa!
The title track was released today along with a video companion that depicts how the fantastic mural on that album cover was made. Matador also noted that “this is NOT the music video. The real video will be revealed in good time.”
