Lady Gaga has decided to take her talents to the restaurant industry.
According to The New York Times, Gaga is helping her parents Joe and Cynthia Germanotta with their new Italian restaurant Joanna Trattoria, which opens up next Wednesday.
The five-time Grammy award winning artist is pitching ideas for the menu, which so far includes a 10 layered lasagna, ‘Grandma Rosie’s Meatballs,’ Nutella doughnuts, and mini-martini cocktails. In addition, Gaga will also be helping create art for the walls of the West 68th Street restaurant in New York. However, the singer isn’t an official part-owner of the restaurant yet.
The restaurant is apparently a modest spot with a “well-stocked bar, a cozy back patio and seating for about 70 people.” It also has former Chef for Oprah, Chef Art Smith, as the head Chef of the eatery.
But don’t expect this to be a “little monsters” attraction. Germanotta says there won’t be any Gaga paraphernalia. “It’s not going to happen,” says Joe.
