It looks like Lady Gaga and Jessie J have decided to not make fans wait any longer than necessary to hear new music from the artists. Gaga took to her Twitter account today to announce that instead of sticking to this Sunday as the release date for her new single, Born This Way, the singer will be releasing the song early, tweeting “Can’t wait any longer, single coming Friday.” Though Gaga did tweet the lyrics to Born This Way at the end of January, a leaked copy of the song has not made it to the internet, which is pretty impressive considering the demand for the song and the high incident rate as of late for leaked music.
Jessie J has announced that her debut album, Who You Are, will be released earlier than expected. Due to the massive demand from the UK singer’s growing fan base, the album will be released on February 28, a month before its original release date.
Lastly, Young Money CEO Lil Wayne will be taking part in his first post-prison interview since being released at the end of 2010 after serving time at Rikers Island for gun possession. Wayne will be sitting down MTV on Thursday night to talk about The Carter IV as well as premiering his video for 6’7, Wayne’s first release since completing his sentence.Tweet
